Three School Districts in Chester County Rank Among State’s Highest-Scoring on Standardized Tests

Three school districts in Chester County rank among the Top 15 highest-scoring in Pennsylvania, with Unionville-Chadds Ford taking the top spot, writes Ethan Lott for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The Pittsburgh Business Times published its 14th annual ranking of the state’s school districts based on three years of standardized test scores. It includes 494 school districts.

Unionville-Chadds Ford tops the list for the fifth consecutive time. Prior to that, the district ranked third in 2011 and 2013 and second in 2012.

Tredyffrin/Easttown checked in at No. 4. The district has been steadily improving its position over the last three years, ranking eighth in 2016 and fifth in 2017.

Great Valley ranked No. 12 after having ranked 18th in 2016 and 15th in 2017.
