Home of the Sparrow to Host 23rd Annual Gala to Help Women, Children Facing Homelessness

By

For its 23rd Annual Gala, Home of the Sparrow – an Exton-based nonprofit that partners with women facing homelessness to secure housing, achieve long-term stability, and chart new paths for their futures – will transform The Phelps School’s fieldhouse into (air-conditioned) Enchanted Woodlands.

On Saturday, June 9 from 6-10:30 PM in Malvern, guests can escape the heat of summer and spend a magical evening in a lush, green woodland.

The evening will include an open bar, dinner, music, dancing, and exciting live and silent auctions.

Proceeds from the event will directly benefit women and children in Chester County and go a long way toward preventing and ending homelessness. As a trusted community partner and service provider, Home of the Sparrow helped 549 women and children last year.

Unfortunately, the need for supportive housing services continues to increase. Hidden from view in Chester County, one of the most affluent counties in the country, hundreds of women and children are about to lose their homes. Home of the Sparrow helps them transform their lives and build better futures.
