Paddle Down the Brandywine to Support the Cerebral Palsy Association of Chester County

Paddle down the scenic Brandywine River in Chester County for a great cause!

Join the Cerebral Palsy Association of Chester County for the 37th Annual Northbrook Canoe Challenge & Duck Race on Sunday, May 6.

The Canoe Challenge is 9.5-miles long and takes approximately two to three hours to complete. The day begins at 10:30 AM with a shuttle to Mortonville from the Northbrook Canoe Company in West Chester. The Challenge begins at 12 PM.

The Duck Race is open to people of all skill levels, and families are encouraged to participate.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Cerebral Palsy Association of Chester County, a nonprofit that serves people with not only cerebral palsy but a variety of physical disabilities, like spinal cord injuries and multiple sclerosis. Its Children’s Early Intervention program provides comprehensive services to infant and toddlers with developmental delays.

The Association also provides services to people with brain injury and autism. All services assist individuals in maintaining their independence in the community.
