AchieveNext, a career and corporate services firm in Wayne, has acquired Relational Capital Group, a sales team training company also in Wayne, writes Jeff Blumenthal for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

This is AchieveNext’s second acquisition in as many years as the company acquired career management and executive coaching firm Kelleher Associates last year. This latest addition has prompted the company to move into larger office space.

While the financial terms have not been disclosed, AchieveNext’s CEO, Nick Araco, said Relational Capital brings in just under $1 million in annual revenue.

Araco said that he has known Ed Wallace, Relational Capital’s Founder and President, for 15 years, and endorsed the second of Wallace’s four books on sales training.

“What we’ve seen in the past year from C-suites is a focus on sales teams,” Araco said, noting why he began pursuing Wallace. “The timing was right because his practice was growing and most of his business is outside of Philadelphia. He wants to be a leader in sales force training, and we think we can make that happen.”

Wallace’s team has already moved into AchieveNext’s new offices in the Glenhardie Corporate Center.
