Chester County Home to 10 of Region’s Top 50 ZIP Codes with Most Disposable Income

Ten Chester County ZIP Codes are among the Top 50 in Greater Philadelphia with the most disposable income, according to rankings compiled by the Philadelphia Business Journal with data from the Environmental Systems Research Institute.

Disposable income is the amount each household has after all taxes have been paid. In Greater Philadelphia, nearly all ZIP Codes in the Top 50 have a disposable income of more than $85,000.

Chester Springs, known for its high quality of life, ranked highest in sixth place with a disposable income of $110,400. It’s followed by Berwyn, which placed ninth with $102,589.

Landenberg is No. 11 with disposable income of $101,586, and Glenmoore checked in at No. 23 with $91,673. Wayne, famous for its quaint downtown, is No. 30 with $87,995 in disposable income. It’s closely followed by Malvern at No. 31 with $87,929 and Devon at No. 33 with $85,729.

The list is rounded off by Avondale with $85,554 in disposable income, Lincoln University with $83,236, and Paoli with $81,307.
