People will be dropping the formalities at a blue jean gala, entitled “Bottoms Up for Prostate Cancer Awareness,” an event that is sure to put the fun in fundraiser on Saturday, April 7 from 6-10 PM at The Desmond Hotel in Malvern.

Proceeds benefit the Pennsylvania Prostate Coalition.

Keep your suit and tie at home and join WMMR’s Steve Morrison and FOX’s Dr. Mike for an evening of food, drink, music, and fun.

Gordon’s Oysters will serve up eight different types of oysters, including both East and West Coast varieties. Some of the region’s best beer brands will be on tap, and there will also be some wines and spirits from Revivalist and Tommy Rotter.

Tickets are $60, or $100 for two. Of course, you can always take the elevator home to one of The Desmond Hotel’s newly renovated rooms with the Blue Ribbon Special: For only $229, you’ll get two tickets to Bottoms Up, a room for the night, and Sunday brunch for two.

One in seven men will get prostate cancer in their lifetime. Be sure to join the festivities on April 7 and celebrate prostate cancer survivors while raising money for prostate cancer awareness.
