A West Chester startup named Flutter Social is looking to reduce the stress of organizing weddings by connecting couples with vendors based on their needs and desired style, writes Roberto Torres for Technical.ly Philly.

The founding duo, Kaleigh Gallagher and Marcie Reilly, got together two years ago to work on their social network. It combines their technological background with their experience in organizing successful wedding ceremonies.

The resulting platform asks couples to fill out a profile with details on the type of vendors they are looking for. The company will then pair them with a selection based on their needs, budget, and style.

According to Reilly, this is what helps Flutter Social stand out from bigger national sites like The Knot and WeddingWire.

“Flutter Social is a dynamic network that understands the bride’s preferences, and curates the recommendations of what they’re looking for and presents it in a direct way.” said Reilly.

The service is free for couples, while vendors can pay a subscription for a platform to promote their services.

“It’s about finding wedding professionals that meet unique needs and visions,” said Gallagher.
