P. Kristen Bennett has been named a partner by Gawthrop Greenwood. She is based in the firm’s rapidly expanding office in Greenville, Del., where she focuses her practice on trusts and estates, as well as taxation.

A frequent speaker on such topics as estate planning, estate tax, and special needs planning, Bennett was recently among more than 50 of the nation’s top trust, legal, and wealth management advisors selected to speak at Delaware Trust Conference 2017.

West Chester Office Plaza

Conshohocken-based Maguire Hayden Real Estate has purchased the West Chester Office Plaza, a five-building business park in downtown West Chester, writes Jacob Adelman for the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Maguire Hayden acquired the properties at East Market Street and Westtown Road for $12.5 million.

The office buildings, which were built between 1964 and 1976, are 90 percent leased to tenants.

Valley Forge Educational Services

Malvern-based VFES invites families to discover the perfect summer program for their child or young adult with special needs during the Special Kids Camp Expo on Saturday, Jan. 27 from 1-4 PM at VFES’s Activities Center. The Special Kids Camp Expo is free of charge and open to the community.

Families can explore a variety of programs from throughout southeastern Pennsylvania, including day and overnight camps, academic programs, Extended School Year services, travel excursions, career exploration programs, workforce readiness programs, therapeutic programs, and community resources.
