TMACC Helps Make Holidays Special by Delivering 2,500 Gifts to Coatesville VA and VMC

The Transportation Management Association of Chester County helped make the holidays special for local veterans by delivering more than 2,500 gifts to the Coatesville VA Medical Center and the Veterans Multi-Service Center.
The initiative was started four years ago to give back to Veterans who ride ChescoBus. The nonprofit collects the gifts that are provided thanks to the generosity of its member and community residents at Summerfield in Elverson.
In its first year, TMACC collected 200 presents over its initial goal of 500, while this year the nonprofit managed over 500 gifts past its goal of 2,000.

The present arrived on December 21 with the help of elected officials, TMACC members, and community partners. The volunteers included County Commissioners Michelle Kichline and Terence Farrell, and State Representatives Harry Lewis, Jr, Becky Corbin, Carolyn Comitta, Eric Roe, and Warren Kampf.
“We appreciate your support and are excited that we have reached another record-breaking year with gifts.” said TMACC Executive Director, Tim Phelps. “Through your support and generosity, we are able to bring the holiday spirit to the men and women who proudly served our great nation.”
