Nonprofits Benefit from West Chester Christmas Toy Drive

By

The staff and teachers from St. Agnes School hosted breakfast celebrating the 2017 West Chester Christmas Toy Drive in partnership with WSFS Bank.

New, unwrapped items donated by Chamber members and the community were presented to the following non-profit organizations who work directly with families in our community:

  • Bridge of Hope of Lancaster & Chester Counties – Bridge of Hope of Lancaster & Chester Counties assists single mothers with dependent children who are experiencing homelessness by securing permanent housing, stability and access to resources in their community through relationships with professional staff and mentoring friendships from local congregations.
  • Home of the Sparrow – Home of the Sparrow partners with women and children who are facing or experiencing homelessness and poverty, serving as a regional leader in the provision of unique and successful housing programs and supportive services throughout Chester County and surrounding communities.
  • Maternal and Child Health Consortium of Chester County – Maternal and Child Health Consortium of Chester County helps pregnant women and children overcome linguistic, economic and cultural roadblocks that keep them from getting the care they need. Direct outreach programs help low-income families obtain health care, health insurance, health education, and healthy early childhood development.
