Assistant Orphans’ Court Administrator

The County of Chester Department of Court Administration seeks an Assistant Orphans’ Court Administrator to serve as a fiduciary specialist to provide administrative support to the Orphans’ Court judges to ensure that legal matters are resolved in an efficient, effective manner.

Candidates for the Assistant Orphans’ Court Administrator position should have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Orphans’ Court matters, strong customer service, communication, organizational and computer skills and have the ability to work extended hours when needed.

Program Manager, Homeland Security Grant Program

The Program Manager, Homeland Security Grant Program position in the Chester County Department of Emergency Service’s Emergency Management Division is responsible for the day-to-day interactions with the Southeastern Pennsylvania Regional Task Force (SEPA RTF) and administering Chester County’s participation in the Homeland Security Grant program including the development and maintenance of strategic plans, policies and procedures; budgeting; project management; and providing guidance to the SEPA RTF Workgroups.

Qualified candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in emergency management, planning, communications, or a related field, at least 3 years related experience and/or training, and the ability to interpret federal and state emergency management requirements and regulations.

Coroner’s Investigator (Part-time)

The Coroner’s Investigator is responsible for responding to death scene investigations, phone investigations and death notifications, conducting investigations including interviews, securing of records and collection of evidence, securing medical records and taking photographs as well as arranging transport of the deceased.

The ideal candidate should have high school diploma or GED plus two years documented experience in a medical, pre-hospital or law enforcement setting. Past experience or education in Medicolegal Death Investigation or certification by the American Board of Medicolegal Death Investigators (ABMDI) is a plus.
