Bob Heath

DNB First

Possessing more than 35 years of banking and mortgage experience in multiple states, Bob Heath has joined DNB First as its Vice President and Mortgage Sales Manager. Heath previously served as the Vice President of Residential Mortgage with Customers Bank, where he assisted in the restart of its direct mortgage lending and managed its origination and CRA staff.

Prior to that, he owned and managed his own mortgage business for 18 years, and had held several management roles at other banks and mortgage service companies.

“Buying or refinancing a home is one of the biggest financial decisions most people will make in their lifetime, and working with a mortgage lender you trust with extensive knowledge of available financing options and your market (of the housing market) can make a huge difference,” said Heath. “That’s why I’m thrilled to join the DNB First team, as part of a community bank that’s been helping customers realize their dreams for more than 150 years.”

AGC Chemicals

Exton’s AGC Chemicals, a subsidiary of Asahi Glass Company, is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. Asahi Glass began the chemical business in 1917 to produce soda ash, a raw material in flat glass that had become difficult to import from England during World War I.

Since then, AGC Chemicals has expanded its research, development, and production to include chlor-alkali and urethane, gas and solvents, and fluorochemical and life sciences products. AGC’s fluorochemicals are used to make products that can resist harsh chemicals, extreme heat, and severe weather conditions.

“This is an exciting time for AGC Chemicals in terms of developing new products and applications to meet our customers’ needs, while continuing to be a steward of the environment,” said Hiroo Mori, president of AGC Chemicals Americas. “Demand continues to grow for environmentally friendly chemicals that enhance the performance of products used in applications like architecture, automotive, aerospace, electronics, paper, textiles, and other consumer materials.”
