QVC, West Chester Christmas Parade’s host, and the Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce (GWCC) have sounded the call for volunteers, some of whom may be in the spotlight of the nationally televised parade.

“It’ll be our biggest parade yet, with record crowds, a record number of marching bands and tons of holiday spirit,” Chamber President Mark Yoder announced.

(Have fun! Get involved! Volunteer to be a parade marshal on November 30th)

The parade is on November 30th and is in need of volunteers to help with many aspects of the event, including:

  • Two volunteers for Parade Set-up – Shift 1:00 to 4:00 PM
  • Twelve volunteers for First Responder Donation Collectors – Shift 6:00 to 9:00 PM
  • Twenty volunteers for Cold Air Balloon Handlers – Shift 6:00 to 9:00 PM
  • Ten volunteers for Parade Cleanup and Tear Down – Shift 9:00 PM to Midnight

“Support your community by being a part of the biggest event in Chester County while having fun and helping the community celebrate the holidays,” said Mark Yoder. “Only a few spots remain, so sign up now!”
