Belfor Property Restoration’s Exton facility played a key role in the company’s response to the devastation from three recent hurricanes – Harvey, Irma, and Maria – writes Brian McCullough for the Daily Local News.

According to Rusty Amarante, Belfor’s director of operations, dozens of Chester County workers have been deployed to assist with the recovery efforts. Belfor’s Mobile Command Center has also been sent to help out in Houston.

The Exton facility houses a number of division leaders of the National Catastrophe Response Team. These include the national director of operations, national director of safety, national catastrophe team leader, national logistics coordinator, national director of billing, and the national director of communications.

“Of these, many department heads plus additional members of their teams located throughout the country were mobilized to assist and support those existing segments in the local offices,” said Amarante.

He said that members of the Exton production team also mobilized National Water Extraction Vehicles to help out. In fact, on any given day, the company has more than 1,000 people working to respond to national weather events.
