By

The Penn State Great Valley Alumni Society is looking for donations of professional clothing and accessories for its drive that runs until Sept. 30.

The drive is held annually to help local charities. This year’s beneficiary, Career Wardrobe, aims to use professional development in order to empower individuals to succeed at work.

Originally a nonprofit designed to help women, it has now expanded with its Make It Work for Men program. The organization helps people who are struggling with finding a job or who need help in their professional lives by providing professional clothing, at low or no cost, at its six boutiques in southeastern Pennsylvania.

The group is collecting men and women’s clothing, accessories, shoes, unused undergarments, as well as unopened toiletries. Donation bins have been placed at the Penn State Great Valley campus in the Main Building and in the Conference Center Building.

More information on the items needed and the donation guidelines is available here.
