On social media and dating sites, it is a best practice to keep your profile up to date. Chester County feels the same way about its business climate profile so for a second year they conducted a Take the Pulse survey.

Launched this past February, area business were asked by the Chester County Board of Commissioners, Chester County Economic Development Council, and the ten area Chambers of Commerce to participate in the survey which is part of VISTA2025, the county’s ten-year economic development strategy that is designed to maintain economic health by balancing progress with preservation.

Results from phase two were released Tuesday morning, August 15 at the Board of County Commissioners’ Sunshine Meeting. With more than 300 respondents, this year’s findings showed some significant changes from those in last year’s report.

Mike Grigalonis, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of the Chester County Economic Development Council introduced the presentation before handing it off to his colleague, MaryFrances McGarrity, Senior Vice President for Business Development Services who highlighted the key findings.
