Is your favorite Friday evening activity eating out with friends in one of our towns or boroughs? Do you spend your weekend canoeing down the Brandywine or fishing from its banks? Is your workplace or a business you frequent a blast? Are you lucky enough to work on a family farm?

The “Putting a Face on Chester County” photography contest is putting the focus on the county’s greatest attribute, its people.

The Chester County Planning Commission is looking for images of people in Chester County in different settings. These can be images of people in their homes, out and about in town, socializing at community events, enjoying the great outdoors, or wherever your imagination takes you.

The contest is open to anyone who lives, works, visits, or plays in Chester County. It is now under way and will run until Oct. 13. A random draw for two tickets to Natural Lands’ Roots & Bluestems event will also be available to anyone who submits an early entry by 5 PM on Sept. 5.

Prizes will be awarded for both adult and youth entries.
