Brandywine Hospital, located on an 85-acre campus right off the Route 30 Bypass, is a 169-bed facility with a full range of inpatient, outpatient, medical and surgical, diagnostic, and emergency care.

Registrar – ER Registration

This position interviews patients, prepares standard registration forms, performs other administration or transfer-related tasks, and performs other clerical and secretarial work.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma, zero to two years of experience in the field or in a related area, and will be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.

Director – Emergency Department

This position directs the staff and programs of the emergency services unit, develops and introduces approved standards and guidelines for emergency service programs, and ensures quality care for all patients.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree, though a master’s degree is preferred, an active Pennsylvania RN license, 10 years of experience in emergency medicine management, and current BLS and ACLS certifications.

IP/OP Coder

This position abstracts clinical information from a variety of medical records, charts, and documents, assigns appropriate ICD-9 and/or CPT-4 codes to patient records, and works with coding databases and confirms DRG assignments.

The ideal candidate will possess an associate degree, a minimum of two years of experience in coding or medical records using ICD and CPT coding systems, and familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.

Director of ICU – Clinical Services

This position manages and directs the operations of the Intensive Care Unit, develops and implements policies to ensure that the ICU operates within budget and complies with established performance standards, and leads and directs the work of others.

The ideal candidate will possess a BSN degree or equivalent, five to seven years of relevant experience, and familiarity with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
