Chester County Chamber of Business, Industry Honor Pair During Annual Luncheon

More than 200 business professionals gathered at the Downingtown Country Club for this year’s Chester County Chamber of Business & Industry’s Annual State of the County Luncheon, according to a report in the Daily Local News.

During the event, the Chester County Commissioners took the opportunity to discuss their vision for the county over the next few years. They also provided more details on several projects that they are currently working on.

Pat Bokovitz, Director of the Chester County Department of Community Development, was one of the honorees of the event. He received the J. Larry Boling Excellence in Government Award.

Earl Baker, a former member of the State Senate and also a 12-year veteran of the Chester County Board of Commissioners, was honored during the luncheon with the CCCBI’s inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award. He received the prestigious award for his five decades of dedicated service to local, state, and federal governments.
