WCU Live! will host the Hypnotic Brass Ensemble on Friday, March 31 at 7:30 PM at the Emilie K. Asplundh Concert Hall.

The Hypnotic Brass Ensemble consists of seven brothers from the south side of Chicago who come from an extraordinary musical family.

Since their founding in 1999, Smoov, Baji, Hudah, Yoshi, Rocco, Clef, and Cid have performed at venues all across the world and are excited to finally bring their sound home on a tour throughout North America.

Mixing the brass band tradition with generous doses of hip-hop, soul, and funk, the Hypnotic Brass Ensemble creates an intoxicating and boisterous blend of music that is just barely contained.

WCU Live! will host also host a show in the morning for the following schools and organizations:

• Garnet Valley Middle School
• Play On, Philly!
• Ridley High School
• Church Farm School
• West Catholic High School
• Devereux

Orchestra tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for seniors and students. Balcony tickets are $17 for adults and $13 for seniors and students.
