It’s been a leisure destination for 115 years, but Wayne marketing communications agency BTC (Boyd Tamney Cross) is aiming to put an historic Poconos resort back on the map with fresh new branding.
BTC recently won the job of transforming the public image of The Inn at Pocono Manor to the newly renovated, 240-room Pocono Manor Resort & Spa, according to a Philadelphia Business Journal report by Kenneth Hilario.
“Like any other product, they have to walk a fine line between maintaining a strong and consistent brand image on the one hand, and refreshing that image on the other,” said Saint Joseph’s University Marketing Professor Michael Solomon.
To do that, BTC is carefully repositioning the resort, and helping it stand out from the competition through rebranded imagery and signage, re-inspired media relations, and re-targeted marketing.
“We’re trying to attract customers and encourage them to experience it and come back again and again,” said BTC CEO Tom Cancelmo. “They have a unique offering, and we’re anxious to get the word out.”
