Marc Ernest, vice president and chief retail officer of the Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union’s Branch Services Division, has been named chairman of the board of directors of the Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce.

The GWCCC is the leading organization serving local businesses and entrepreneurs in helping them build relationships, network, and promote their business.

“It is an exciting opportunity to play an even greater role with the Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce,” said Ernest. “I look forward to our entire team enhancing efforts to help local businesses grow, network, and prosper.”

Ernest holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Penn State and certification from the National Association of Federal Credit Union Management and Leadership Institute.

“Marc’s leadership on several boards demonstrates his commitment to our local communities,” said FMFCU President and CEO John D. Unangst. “The Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce is one of this region’s most active chambers, and we are honored to have an FMFCU team member named chairman.”

Ernest resides in West Bradford Township, and also serves as board chair of the West Chester Area School District Education Foundation and vice president of East Brandywine Youth Association.
