DCCC logoDelaware County Community College and Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts have signed an articulation agreement that will enable qualified students to transfer seamlessly from the community college to the four-year art school in Philadelphia.

Students who maintain at least a C average in each course, and who graduate from Delaware County Community College’s Studio Arts program with an associate in fine arts degree, are eligible to transfer up to 63 credits in fine arts and/or liberal arts to the bachelor of fine arts program at the academy.

Qualified students will be required to submit a portfolio representative of their work. The portfolio serves as a visual transcript that helps academy faculty determine the student’s skill level. The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts has agreed to waive its application fee.

Scholarships are available for full-time students who maintain at least a 3.0 grade point average.

The academy’s bachelor of fine arts program pairs demanding studio training with fine-arts-focused liberal arts education.
