Local Software Company Forms Alliance with John Deere to Revolutionize Golf Course Management

By

Wayne-based OnGolf, an industry leader in golf course performance optimization software, has joined forces with John Deere Golf to introduce OnLink.

The innovative, cloud-based golf course management platform is designed to collect data and manage equipment, labor, water, chemicals, and nutrients, as well as the playing conditions, on golf courses around the world.

It also offers the most precise and accurate weather forecasting service in the industry.

The new software features automated reporting focused on providing critical course conditions, economic reports, and other important data to golf superintendents and operators. This allows them to make the best possible economic and agronomic decisions for their courses.

OnGolf’s results-oriented strategy has already proven itself in practice, recording more than a million dollars in savings in less than two years to its users.

Once it launches in the summer, OnLink will add to this by providing robust fleet management solutions, such as tracking equipment maintenance, labor and ownership costs, and tools for ordering various brands of equipment.

“John Deere’s equipment and fleet management expertise coupled with OnGolf’s success with performance optimization software creates an innovative management solution for our customers and the industry,” said Walt Norley, Founder and CEO of OnGolf.
