Devault-HeaderThere’s a new seating arrangement around the executive table at Devault Foods, and members of the next generation are ready to serve up a modern vision for the future of the portion-controlled meat preparation and packing enterprise in Malvern.

Longtime Devault Foods President Tom Fillippo is moving to full-time board chairman and calling up operations executive Brett Black to become the company’s new president and CEO, as well as Thomas W. Fillippo to the new role of executive vice president.

“Devault Foods is rapidly growing into an unrivaled company with operational excellence,” Tom Fillippo said. “I have strong confidence in Brett, Thomas, and the leadership team to successfully carry the Fillippo family legacy into the distant future.”

The new leaders’ strategy for Devault Foods is to further hone operational improvement, and expand on new trends, product categories, and growing markets.

“No business lasts over the long haul if it can’t re-invent itself to address the evolving preferences and needs of its customers,” Black said.
