CCEDC’s MaryFrances McGarrity Receives Well-Deserved Promotion

By

MaryFrances McGarrity welcomes attendees to CCEDC's annual State of the Economy presentation Friday morning.

The Chester County Economic Development Council (CCEDC) is pleased to announce that MaryFrances McGarrity has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Business Development Services.

The promotion recognizes the contributions MaryFrances has made to CCEDC since she started with the organization in 2012.  While MaryFrances will continue to lead our i2i investor program, this promotion reflects additional responsibilities associated with CCEDC’s new real estate- focused initiatives.

“MaryFrances has been an outstanding addition to our CCEDC team since the day she arrived.  Her work ethic, passion, and expertise make her invaluable to CCEDC and, more importantly, our stakeholders,” said Michael Grigalonis, CCEDC’s Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President.

“Combined with her strong real estate background, it was an easy choice to have her lead our new redevelopment initiatives.”

CCEDC completed a strategic planning process in the Fall of 2016 which identified real estate redevelopment as a priority initiative beginning in 2017.  The initiative will focus on converting brownfields and underutilized commercial/industrial zoned properties to productive use.

Congratulations to MaryFrances on this well-earned promotion!
