Volunteers Needed at Chester County Food Bank This Monday
The Chester County Food Bank (CCFB) received a large produce donation and is now in need of volunteers to help prep the food for delivery during the week of December 5th.
Volunteers are needed to process, cut up, and package produce for delivery to area shelters and pantries.
Additional helpers are needed to pack backpacks with school meals for area children as part of CCFB’s Weekend Backpack Program. According to the CCFB website, the “Weekend Backpack Program helps children get the nutritious and easy-to-prepare food they need to get enough to eat on the weekends.”
Volunteer hours are this Monday from 1-4 PM, so please register as soon as possible if you are available to assist.
