Victory Brewing Releases Exclusive Beers for the Holidays

victory-logo-17-46-301Victory Brewing Company recently introduced two new beers to usher in the holiday season: a celebration brew, aptly named Jubilee, which is available in Victory’s entire distribution footprint, and Red, an extremely limited, oak-aged Flemish-style sour red ale.

Jubilee is a lush and decadent brut beer that is a rich, fruit-forward Belgian-style ale. It pours golden yellow-orange, and is fermented with sparkling wine yeast, making for a lively and effervescent beer, perfect for toasting.

Jubilee is highly carbonated, lending to its champagne-like feel, and is sure to start the party at 12 percent ABV, similar to many wines and champagnes. Pear and green apple aromas with citrus and spice flavors lead to a dry and crisp, wine-like finish.

Jubilee will be available January through March on draft, and is packaged in 750 ml bottles with celebratory artwork emphasizing the snappy corked bottle. Available throughout Victory’s 35-state footprint, Jubilee bottles retail at $9.99.

Released on Dec. 15 exclusively at all three Victory brewpubs, Red is a highly complex, Flemish-style sour red ale. A reflection of the passion, dedication, and patience of Victory brewers, Red was aged for three years in oak barrels, leading to tart aromas and notes of vanilla, oak, caramel, and cherries. Mixed-culture fermentation and expert blending perfectly marry tart and tannic notes for a sharp, biting acidity that is quickly replaced by slightly sweet, malty undertones.

Red is available for a limited time in 750 ml bottles for $22 at the Downingtown, Kennett Square, and Parkesburg locations.
