For those of you searching for a creative, last minute holiday gift, Penns Woods Winery in Chadds Ford invites you to its wine club.

Its wine club membership program acknowledges and rewards Penns Woods wine lovers with exclusive wines, special events, and advance notification on all new wine releases. This concept parallels the traditions and philosophy of their winery in its continual effort to present the knowledge, quality, and passion that goes into every bottle of its wine.

Penns Woods wine was recently compared to wines of a similar quality to Bordeaux and Burgundy by the internationally-renowned Stuart Piggott, a British wine writer and critic, as Penns Woods prides itself in its robust red offerings.

Select shipments will include unreleased wines and library classics. Members sign up to receive either six or 12 bottles of wine, two or four times each year, of all red or mixed selections. All wines are selected by winemaker Gino Razzi, based on seasonal favorites, how well they are drinking, and new releases. Each assortment will include bottles to drink and enjoy right away, as well as wine to age.
