Settled on 12 lush acres and overlooking the rolling green fields of Chester County, this 1780 farmhouse regularly hosts visitors on Chester County Day with its two living spaces, the main house and its historic Bank Barn, writes Mary-Margaret Ewens for Philadelphia magazine.

The front door of the main house is located on its second floor, ushering guests into a classic Colonial entrance hall. With one of the property’s six fireplaces, the cozy family room is on the right of the hall with a home office and a formal living room on the left.

The lower level is home to its amazing kitchen, with wooden beams and stainless steel appliances. There’s also an incredible, original cooking fireplace that perfectly blends the home’s historic features and modern amenities.

All three bedrooms can be found upstairs, two of which share a bathroom. The master bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom and four closets.
