TE Connectivity LogoBerwyn’s TE Connectivity both sponsored and recruited at the 2016 Society of Women Engineers conference last weekend in Philadelphia.

The mission of the SWE is to stimulate women to accomplish their full potential in careers such as engineers and leaders. As a Corporate Partnership Council member, TE Connectivity helps to advance the SWE’s mission by sharing its insights into industry trends and development, and by providing financial support for the Society’s innovative projects.

TE showcased its leading positions in connectivity and sensors with a transparent car display at the company’s booth. The display highlighted the wide range of TE technologies that are present in the automobiles of today and in the future.

The company, which is looking to add to its more than 7,000 engineers, was also actively recruiting at the conference with its largest career fair presence in the company’s history.

In partnership with John Deere and Raytheon, TE welcomed over 1,200 collegiate engineering students, and hosted exclusive breakout sessions, as well as tech talks with executive leaders.
