Tents, a Roaring Campfire and Craft Beer Fuse to Raise Money for Autism Research

Craft beer and camping enthusiasts will want to jump at the chance to spend the evening of October 1 at Paradise Farm Camps in Downingtown, PA to take part in the Craft Beer Campout.

The event will act as a fundraiser for Autism Speaks Philadelphia, which focuses on Autism-related research, events, and advocacy.

Beginning at 4:30pm on Saturday, October 1, the $30 adult entry donation includes Craft Beer, Souvenir Pint Glass, barbeque, and camping.  Children’s admission is free, but a $10 per child donation is suggested.

Local breweries Victory Brewing Company and Levante Brewing Company are sponsoring the beer for the evening, Texsylvania Smokehouse BBQ is providing dinner, and Wawa has donated non-alcoholic beverages for children and non-imbibers.

Due to the limitations of hosting such a large event, only tent camping will be allowed – no RV’s or trailers.  Likewise, unless it’s a registered Service Dog, please leave your four-legged, furry friends at home.

A large, community bonfire will be roaring, but individual fires will not be possible.

Anyone wanting to support the cause, but skip the camping element, can buy a “dinner only ticket.”  Advanced tickets are available on the Craft Beer Campout website.  Monetary donations are graciously accepted for those who are unable to attend on October 1.

For those participating, or anyone wanting to see events unfold in real time, follow #CraftBeerCampOut2016 on social media.  Please use that hashtag in any pictures or social media posts.

Paradise Farm Camps is located at 1300 Valley Creek Rd, Downingtown, PA 19335.  The event will be held Rain or Shine.
