Celebrating OUTWORD.Today and the Philly Suburban LGBTQ+ Experience

Join Rachel Stevenson and American Community Journals (ACJ), publisher of VISTA Today, to celebrate the grand kick-off of OUTWORD.Today this evening, Monday, September 26th, in Mont Clare, PA!

Earlier this year, ACJ approached Rachel Stevenson, motivational speaker, author, and founder of Chester County’s LGBT Equality Alliance, about an opportunity to support the LGBTQ business-minded community through the written word. The goal: to inspire, promote, and celebrate the Philly Suburban LGBTQ business community.

Rachel’s LGBTQ non-profit work experience, out-of-the-box thinking, design background, writing style, networking savvy, and love for celebrating authenticity and community, assured ACJ’s management that they had found the right LGBTQ leader in the Philly Suburbs with the skills and ability to reach their common goal.

Rachel quickly got to work and developed the first Philly Suburban LGBTQ business journal – OUTWORD.Today.

OUTWORD.Today celebrates the Philly Suburban LGBTQ experience by publishing short, concise, easy to read summaries of its assets;  its commerce, culture, and community leaders, allies, news and events.

The online journal covers stories throughout the five-county region, including Berks County, Bucks County, Chester County, Montgomery County, Delaware County, and parts of Wilmington, DE.

OUTWORD.Today covers events shaping our region, driving economic development and redefining what it means to live and work in the Philly Suburbs as a member or ally of the LGBTQ community.

OUTWORD.Today’s concise, upbeat, easy-to-read stories keep Philly Suburban LGBTQ leaders, executives, innovators, lenders, lawyers, investors, recruiters, entrepreneurs, employers, and managers informed, engaged and connected.

In addition, a percentage of OUTWORD.Today’s revenue stream is donated to local LGBTQ non-profit organizations throughout the region as our way of paying it “outword.”

We invite you (our colleagues, friends, allies, and corproate community partners) to learn more about our new project and to find out how you can get involved with the future of equality in the Philly suburban business community.
