YMCA of Greater Brandywine Launches ‘Zoe for President’ Campaign

YMCA of Greater Brandywine is launching the ‘Zoe for President’ campaign with a rally on August 23rd.

The YMCA of Greater Brandywine is hosting a rally today to launch the ‘Zoe for President’ campaign aimed at helping children in Chester County gain the skills and confidence they need to reach their full potential.

The goal of the campaign, part of YMCA of Greater Brandywine’s early education and afterschool programming, is to gives kids the opportunities they need to one day be president.

During the rally the organization will announce their ‘future’ presidential candidate, Zoe, who unites and stands for all children in Chester County. The rally, from 4-5:15 p.m., will feature a debate among potential Vice Presidential candidates for Zoe as she decides on her running mate and presents her platform for Chester County.

Representatives from the YMCA of Greater Brandywine will also take the opportunity to discuss how they will build strong foundations for all the children in the County, so Zoe and others like her can grow and thrive as future leaders..

Denise Day, President & CEO of YMCA of Greater Brandywine will welcome the guests and attendees including Val DiGiorgio, County Chairman of Republican Committee of Chester County, Brian McGinnis, County Chairman of Chester County Democratic Committee, and Bob Shope, Board Chair of YMCA of Greater Brandywine.

The rally is at Oscar Lasko YMCA and Childcare Center at 1 E. Chestnut St. in West Chester
