Those unable to make it to this year’s Iron Hill Twilight Race Series in West Chester are in luck, as both the pro men’s Iron Hill Twilight Criterium and the Brumbaugh Wealth Management Pro Women’s Criterium will be streamed live with commentary from legendary pro cyclist, Frankie Andreu.

According to Mark Yoder, President of the Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce, both races also serve as the finals for the 2016 TUFMED USA CRITS Championship Series,  and top pro racers are expected for the race on August 20th.

During the live webcast of the event, viewers will get the chance to enjoy exciting and insightful commentary by Andreu who used to ride in the tours with Lance Armstrong. Andreu was one of the first American riders to go public about doping during the Tour de France.

Andreu retired from the sport in 2000 after a fantastic 12-year career which included competing in the Tour de France nine times, three times in the Tour of Spain, as well as riding in one Giro d’Italia.

The eight-block race will be covered by multiple cameras along the route, as well as a finish line camera to the catch the all-out sprint finishing.

“I’ve traveled all over the U.S. covering criterium racing and it’s exciting that the TUFFMED USA CRITS Championship Finals will be in West Chester,” said Andreu. “It’s been a very close series and the final winners will be decided at the Iron Hill Criterium.”
