Coatesville VA Medical Center Hosting Veterans Resource Expo

By

The Coatesville Veteran Affairs Medical Center is hosting a Veteran Resource Expo today to help them connect with other organizations.

More than 30 organizations will be participating in the Coatesville Veteran Affairs Medical Center’s Veterans Resource Expo today, writes Ginger Dunbar for Daily Local News.

The event, which runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Building 5, Great Hall at 1400 Blackhorse Hill Road will help veterans connect with organizations that can help them in areas such as housing, education and employment.

Not only that, but it gives veterans a chance to sit down with experts to discuss their VA health care options and the benefits they have earned from their service.  As part of the event, they can also meet with the hospital leadership for a question and answer session from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in conference room #3.

Among the participating organizations are the Wounded Warrior Project, Mainline Deputy Dog, PA CareerLink, U.S. Small Business Administration, West Chester University Greg R. and Sandra L. Weisenstein Veterans Center and PennDOT.

The free event is open for all veterans and if possible, attendees should bring their DD-214; VA service connected disability award letter, health insurance and income information. Refreshments and snacks will be provided.

For more information, contact Transition and Care Management program manager Audrey Hall at 610-384-7711 ext. 2831 or by email at Audrey.Hall2@va.gov.
