Turf Equipment and Supply Co. is relocating to the facility at 16 Hagerty Blvd. in West Chester, Pa., from Kennett Square, Pa.

An industrial facility in Birch Run Industrial Park at 16 Hagerty Blvd. in West Chester has been acquired by Turf Equipment and Supply Co. for $2.8 million. The company is moving there from Kennett Square to take over the 21,670 square foot space that used to be home to VF Technologies with the rest of the building already leased by professional services companies.

Coatesville Police Chief John “Jack” Laufer and Fuel City Café co-owner Nicole Catanese teamed up again for this month’s “coffee with the chief.” The shop, at 247 East Lincoln Highway, has been hosting the event on the first Wednesday of the month from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. since April. “It gives people a chance to talk to the chief about concerns,” Catanese said, “good or bad.”

Phoenixville Area School District has completed a bond sale which will create savings for taxpayers of over $650,000 over the next five years. According to the district, the sale, similar to a homeowner refinancing their mortgage for a more favorable interest rate, will provide tax relief down the road. “It’ll be less taxes the district will have to levy,” said Stan Johnson, Executive Director of Operations.

Target Shooting Solutions, the largest gun store in the tri-state area, will be opening its doors at the home of the former Boomers Entertainment Center off Route 41 in Avondale. Over 40 people will be employed at the store which specializes in firearms, firearms accessories, and firearms equipment.
