Chesterbrook, Tredyffrin Township, and Devon Among State’s Top 10 Best Places to Live
Niche, a website that helps people discover the schools and neighborhoods that are right for them, recently released its annual list of the Top 100 Best Places to Live in Pennsylvania.
Chesterbrook, Tredyffrin Township, and Devon – at Nos. 2, 4, and 6, respectively – all qualified for the Top 10. Overall, of the Top 100 Best Places to Live in Pennsylvania, 21 are in Chester County.
Paoli (15), Charleston Township (20), East Whiteland Township (24), Willistown Township (25), Easttown Township (28), and West Goshen Township (29) all made the Top 30.
Niche rigorously analyzes dozens of public data sets and millions of reviews to produce comprehensive rankings, report cards, and profiles for thousands of K-12 schools, colleges, and places to live.
The 2016 Best Places to Live ranking provides a comprehensive assessment of the overall livability of an area at the place level. It takes into account several key factors of a location, including the quality of local schools, crime rates, housing trends, employment statistics, and access to amenities in an attempt to measure the overall quality of an area.
