Success of VISTA.Today Prompts Launch of Delaware and Montgomery County NewsHubs

By

You, VISTA Today’s reader, have spoken.

Well, technically, your actions have spoken.

Pivot Today Front Page
Delaware County’s population of 558,979, ranks it as the fifth most populous county in Pennsylvania, and the third most compact.

Prompted by the success of VISTA.Today over the last two years – which we owe to you and the time you spend reading and sharing our stories – and the need for a centralized NewsHub in neighboring Delaware and Montgomery Counties, we are launching DELCO.Today and MONTCO.Today.

Today, May 2, marks the official debut of each web-based NewsHub.

DELCO.Today will tell Delaware County’s story of commercial prosperity, diverse cultural opportunities, and community involvement every day. MONTCO.Today will do likewise in Montgomery County.

As we have with VISTA.Today in Chester County, both PIVOT and MONTCO will celebrate their respective county’s quality of life and economic health by publishing short, concise, easy-to-read summaries about the events that shape the county. The site will aim to drive each county’s economic development and redefine what it means to live and work there.

Since publishing our first story in 2014, VISTA.Today’s readership and subscriber base has steadily risen. We owe that to you, our loyal readers, who continue to show an interest in our content, and the wisdom of our affiliate partners, who understand and appreciate how VISTA.Today benefits them.

Please consider subscribing to our new platforms. After all, the news in our neighboring counties can affect us all.

VISTA, PIVOT, and MONTCO Today are owned and operated by American Community Journals, LLC. ACJ is the brainchild of owner Ken Knickerbocker, a 20 year resident of Parkesburg in western Chester County. The mission of all three online business journals is to help customers grow their business, advance their career, expand their professional network, and fully appreciate their community.

“Each journal focuses on delivering a steady, timely, and credible stream of business and economic news, job postings, and business or cultural events,” said Knickerbocker. “Its audience are the adults who are leading, financing, developing, managing, or simply working in the area.”

You’ll quickly notice the parallels among the three sites, which offer readers the look and feel of a big-city news site but with a laser-like focus on each county’s business and cultural scene. We avoid longform journalism, opting instead for succinct stories of 200-400 words or less, with easily clickable links to past stories and other sites, should you wish to learn more.

Again, thank you for supporting VISTA.Today! Don’t hesitate to reach out to us with story ideas or general comments. We look forward to hearing from you.
