Pocopson Man Wows QVC Audience with Weed Prevention Product
David Levine, a Pocopson resident, appeared on the West Goshen based home shopping network giant QVC last week to sell his innovative gardening product that was two years in the making During his segment on Tuesday at 6 a.m., he showcased his Punch N Plant Weed Block product, which he has dubbed a revolutionary landscape fabric designed to make gardening easier and more efficient.
Tredyffrin Yoga Program Helps People Suffering from Trauma
According to Mike Huggins, founder of the Transformation Yoga Project that began while he was serving a nine-month term in prison five years ago, has grown to more than 4,500 participants in 15 different programs taught by 25 yoga teachers. It helps people suffering from various forms of trauma giving them a chance seek recovery through his innovative yoga programs that use special techniques to help people suffering from addiction and post-traumatic stress disorder.
Unionville High School Joins Pilot Drone Program
Unionville High School has joined Avon Grove High School in a pilot drone program that introduces students to the technology that they will most likely encounter for the rest of their lives. The drone, that can fly 400 feet in the air and travel more than 3 miles, has a camera attachment that can take ultra-high 4K resolution video as well as 12 megapixel photos and has so far been used by students in their photography and video production classes.
