The future of business talent looks and acts differently these days, and a Chester County cloud services company is leading by example when it comes to harnessing that millennial youth and energy.

“It’s probably fair to assert that a high-tech, fast-growth company located in the Philadelphia suburb of Wayne, Pennsylvania, is doing something right if it continues to lure — and keep — a bevy of young talent, year after year,” Ilan Mochari wrote in a recent Inc. Magazine feature.

A three-time Inc. 5000 honoree, Evolve IP has put together an all-star staff, and millennials play a big role in it. Of its nearly 200 employees, 20 percent were born since 1990 and 60 percent since 1980. Among many business culture strategies, Evolve IP focuses on empowerment, recognition, ongoing training, community involvement and hiring within its own networks.

“They are intent on instilling in all Evolve IP employees the notion that their ideas are worthy of top-team consideration — and big-budget bucks,” the article explained. “No one’s idea is ever dismissed based on their age or station in the company. To that end, Evolve IP calls all of its employees ‘associates.’”

Its innovative leadership also provides a way to give back through “a setting where any associate can find and lead a charitable initiative. Since inception, the company has spent more than 5,000 hours and raised more than $4 million for 35 different charities.”

And it’s all resonating with millennials.

“We’re firm believers that everyone can bring value to an organization,” Co-Founder, Chairman and CEO Tom Gravina said in the article. “We always want to acknowledge it, recognize it and reward people for it.”
