sba-1Marking Black History Month, the U.S. Small Business Administration has recognized Exton based Full Circle, the female-owned firm that specializes in providing information systems, education and training, as well as program management for federal government agencies, according to a staff report from The Philadelphia Tribune.

During the recent visit to the firm, the SBA’s Eastern Pennsylvania Director, Antonio Leta, took the opportunity to recognize the achievements of leading Pennsylvania Black entrepreneurs such as Full Circle.

“In February, SBA joins the American celebration and remembrance of the important milestones highlighted during Black History Month, united and inspired by the uniquely American dream that every person, with hard work and dedication, has the potential to achieve remarkable things” commented Leta.

“During this time, SBA’s Eastern Pennsylvania District focuses on the men and women who sacrificed and strove to achieve a better future through entrepreneurship.”

Full Circle’s success is showcased by its proven track record of providing efficient and effective professional services to both assist federal agency and commercial market missions. Full Circle started its nine year term as part of the SBA initiative 8(a), a business development program for socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, two years ago.

Alicia Williams, CEO of Full Circle, describes the firm’s mission as aiming to provide superior IT talent and training to various organizations and individuals to help them realize their full potential.

“Full Circle provides individuals the access to the education, the work experiences and the guidance required to realize true potential” said Williams.

“Growing a business is a tremendous task. It takes time, fortitude, skill and passion. I keep the quote, ‘Have a vision. Be demanding’ by Colin Powell, in the forefront of my mind. It reminds me to never give up and keep my eye on the goal of building a great business, no matter the challenges.”

Officials from the SBA said that this visit is a part of the organizations month long commitment to honor the Black History Month by celebrating Black American-owned firms. Numerous events have taken place in February focused on showcasing the diversity and contribution of both Black American businesses and residents in the region.
