Alliance Pharma logoBased in Malvern, Alliance Pharma is a Contract Research Organization (CRO) specializing in Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetic (DMPK) and bioanalytical services for both small and large molecules. Its goal is to help clients through the process of taking a drug from pre-clinical/clinical trials to market as fast and as problem-free as possible.

Project Manager

This position will act as liaison between clients and each functional department. He/she will coordinate with personnel to prepare and issue study proposals, and track progress of ongoing projects and schedule upcoming projects. The person will also ensure timely delivery of projects under tight timelines in a cost-efficient manner, interact with clients for project-specific discussions, and prepare invoices for completed studies.

The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in chemistry or biology with at least three years of working experience in CROs, pharmaceutical companies, or academic institutions. He/she must have experience in managing projects and excellent communication skills. Candidates must have the ability to identify opportunities, respond quickly to client requests and expectations, and demonstrate leadership as well as foster collaboration between different teams.

Scientific Director (Drug Metabolism)

This position will prepare and deliver scientific presentations at internal and external meetings, and utilize high-level interpersonal and communication skills to interface between clients, management, and employees. He/she will coordinate with management to plan workload and resources to meet projected revenue goals. The person will also develop and verify in vitro ADME assays, follow best established procedures, and provide recommendations to conduct client’s research project.

The ideal candidate will possess a Ph.D. in relevant scientific discipline in drug metabolism with five or more years of pharmaceutical industry experiences in in-vitro drug metabolism. Hands-on experience in transporter assay including MDCK, Caco-2, LLC-PK cell lines is highly desired.

Laboratory Technician

This position will perform routine laboratory work, which entails sample receiving, sample extraction and analysis, data processing, report writing, instrument maintenance, in-vitro metabolism work, and daily lab organization. He/she will fully understand regulatory compliance, and follow Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and our internal SOPs to conduct bioanalysis.

The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in chemistry or biochemistry. He/she must be hard-working, detail-oriented, and very responsible. Knowledge of SAS and/or SigmaPlot is a plus.
