Success stories are made by those who pursue excellence — in themselves as well as those around them — and Chester County’s most successful women recently gathered to promote the power of mentors.

“Am I living the life I want to be living? Am I putting my energy into where I say I want to go?” NBC10 News Today Anchor Tracy Davidson told attendees to ask themselves, according to a Unionville Times report.

“Don’t Wait” to pursue the relationships you want to develop and goals you want to achieve, she urged the more than 100 women who showed up for the third annual conference of the Chester County Chamber of Business & Industry’s Women Influencing Business Committee. “Reach ahead to those a bit ahead of you in their careers, reach behind you to help others and reach out to the people walking beside you to connect.”

The conference was a half-day event featuring influential female leaders from QVC, Comcast, Global Tax Management, Krapf Bus Companies, Vanguard, Fulton Bank, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and more.

“Mentors give the gift of clear, helpful feedback, often from a perspective that we are just not able to see of ourselves,” Vanguard Digital Technology Executive Joy Brown said in the article.
