Pegasus Technologies Gets Serious About Client Relationships

By

Pegasus Technologies CEO Matt Tucker likes to have fun in the workplace by dressing up as Waldo from 'Where is Waldo?'.

Pegasus TechnologiesMost IT firms treat client computer problems like a blind date — hooking them up with the next available technician. But not Pegasus Technologies of Kennett Square; its business model is much more like a committed relationship, with a personality test to prove the match was made in heaven.

“Any technician can go out and fix the computer and make it work perfectly,” Marketing Director Dennis Kent said in a Technical.ly report. “But if they’re on the phone the whole time, rude to the client, leaving a mess when they leave — yeah, the machine works, but is that customer satisfied? No.”

To stand out from the crowd of other managed service providers, Pegasus developed its 35-question Match-IT personality profile to make sure each client team is a good fit with the culture of the company it’s serving.

“We feel if you get along with the people you’re dealing with on a regular basis, you’re going to do better business that way,” Kent said in the article.

It also helps Pegasus technicians create efficiencies through their familiarity with client computer systems.
