PREIT, which owns the Exton Square Mall, is signalling that it may be open to merger talks.

An extravaganza of mind and body wellness will exercise its fun muscles on Saturday, Oct. 17, during the second edition of Be Alive & Thrive in the Exton Square Mall.

Featuring fun-filled activities, energetic games, art projects, creative demonstrations, music and dance performances, a selfie station, Reiki relaxation treatments, health screenings, nutrition advice, suicide prevention training, a community conversation about mental health and a suicide and mental health victim remembrance ceremony, Be Alive & Thrive aims to heighten awareness about the importance of cultivating mental health and preventing suicide.

The all-day event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the lower level of Exton Square Mall near anchor Boscov’s, thanks to support from mall management, the Chester County Suicide Prevention Task Force and other mental health stakeholders.

The mall’s Main Line Health Center will provide the health screenings and nutrition information, and certified instructors plan to walk participants through one of two 90-minute sessions of the nationally-acclaimed Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) suicide prevention training.
