Operations Coordinator

Building Maintenance Service Company is looking for administrative support in the company’s Operations Department.  Once hired, the Operations Coordinator will be responsible for providing support to the Operations Manager in coordinating building services projects.  Duties include reviewing project folders to ensure all pertinent information is obtained for each construction project, setting up up initial job spreadsheets and tracking change orders, coordinating daily construction activities and scheduling subcontractors to ensure all work is of the highest professional workmanship and is completed on time.

The Operations Coordinator position requires attention to detail, above average computer skills (primarily advanced excel and outlook/email), the ability to organize and prioritize within strict time frames and resolute deadlines. A commitment to outstanding customer service is a must.

Commercial Businesses Cleaner(s)

Building Maintenance Service Company is looking for part time quality Commercial Businesses Cleaners to provide great service to the firm’s high profile clients. Duties include dusting and cleaning furniture, partitions, sinks, counter tops, etc, Replenish supplies in kitchen and restroom areas, empty trash and sweep, mop or vacuum. Physical demands of the job include walking and standing, climbing, bending, kneeling to clean floors by hand, push and pull objects, lift and move objects (including 20 lb vacuum), repetitive bending and lifting, and repetitive arm movements.

The Business Cleaner should be a self starter, be detail oriented, a team player and have the ability to logically solve practical problems. A high school diploma and experience in a professional environment is required.

Carpenter/General Laborer(s)

Building Maintenance company is looking for full-time Semi Skilled Carpenter/General Laborer’s to provide support to the firm’s construction clients in and around Chester County.  Once hired the Carpenter will performs routine electrical repairs such as changing light bulbs or fluorescent lamps, change ceiling tiles, repair and patch holes in walls and general duties as needed.

The Carpenter/General Laborer should have a knowledge of trades related to carpentry framing, occupational hazards and safety precautions, have an ability to read and follow blueprints and assembly instructions, be skilled in using hand and power tools and be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and customers. Work involves moderate to heavy work in all types of weather and there is frequent need to stand, stoop, walk, lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform other similar actions during the course of the workday. A high school diploma or GED and at least (1) year carpenter experience and a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license is required.
