September 29th is the 272th day of the year leaving just 93 days remaining until the end of the year.  In 1951, NBC Televised the first live sporting event seen coast-to-coast in the United States, a college football game between Duke and the University of Pittsburgh. Today is National Coffee Day and Wawa (free coffee in the size of your choice)and Dunkin Donuts (free medium cup hot or iced dark roast coffee) are offering deals to help you celebrate your java jolt.

The Chester County Chamber of Business & Industry hosts their annual Women’s Professional Development Conference at QVC Studio Park in West Chester beginning this morning at 8:00 AM.

The Philadelphia Area Great Careers Group holds a Launch Party in Bartley Hall on Villanova’s campus beginning at 6:15 PM.

Finally, the Chester County Commissioners and Pipeline Safety Coalition present a Pipeline Safety Public Forum at Downingtown High School from 6:30 to 9:00 PM.  Admission to the forum is free.

On Wednesday September 30th, Exton Region Chamber of Commerce holds their monthly Network at Noon event at Penn Liberty Bank branch on Font Road in Downingtown.

Also on Wednesday, the Western Chester County Chamber of Commerce hosts their Candidate Meet & Greet giving members a chance to meet local community officials and candidates.
