September 21st is the 264th day of the year leaving 101 days remaining until the end of the year.  On this date in 1897, the New York Sun published its famous editorial, “Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus” and the birthday of writer H.G. Wells, born Herbert George Wells, in Bromley, England (1866).

Chester County 2020 hosts a Citizen’s Planners Breakfast featuring Former Chester County Planning Commissioner Ronald Bailey at O’Grady’s Family Restaurant in Phoenixville this morning.

Brandywine Health Foundation is holding a free pizza party this afternoon beginning at 4:30.  High school kids between the ages of 14 and 18 interested in participating in the Coatesville Area Youth Philanthropy Program are encouraged to attend.

On Tuesday September 22nd, the Southern Chester County Chamber of Commerce hosts a Young Business Leader get together at beginning at 5:30 PM at MacElree Harvey’s office on Miner Street in West Chester.

The Women’s Business Connection of Chester County’s (WBC) free Membership Appreciation and Membership Drive event happens Tuesday evening at Victory at Magnolia, 650 West Cypress Street, Kennett Square beginning at 5:30 PM.
