Introducing LetsWorkChes.co, Walnut Street Labs Launches New Careers Site

By Zane Zerman,

Today, Walnut St. Labs announced their latest project: LetsWorksChes.co — a new innovation in recruiting that focuses on two things: Chester County, PA and storytelling.

“Most job boards are just that — job info” said Chris Dima, Founder and CEO of Walnut St. Labs. “Our background is in telling stories and documenting people, places and things. We’re taking that concept to employers as a way to attract new employees.”

The website hosts a slew of new, local job postings from across the county, including jobs from Jacquette, QVC, Comcast, and Unisys. Users can use the site to apply directly from there, or connect with the company through their LinkedIn profile instead. Job seekers can search by job type, category or look at jobs via an interactive map.

LetsWorkChes.co is part of Walnut St. Labs’ mission. According to the labs’ community evangelist, Ben Bock, it’s all about connecting people and organizations and being authentic. “The best way to to attract new employees in this day and age is to be open and transparent,” he said. “LetsWorkChes.co combines the traditional job board with marketing, SEO, PR and video.”

One thing LetsWorkChes.co offers that’s different is that social marketing aspect. Every job gets unique distribution across various digital properties Walnut St. Labs has.

Check out the Tech Tours video for Coldlight Solutions, one of the companies Walnut St. Labs  did a recruitment video for. Kinda like VH1 Behind the Music but for companies.
